| CDLPro is a tool
that is designed to make downloading digital image files easy and error-free. CDLPro can download image files from a
camera, a memory card, a portable storage device, or any folder located on this or another
network-connected computer. In addition to downloading image files, CDLPro has features that make it easier
to manage your original image files. It can:
- Do automatic lossless rotation of JPEG image files to the correct orientation.
- Adjust the EXIF time stamps inside the image files to correct for camera internal clock
mis-setting.
- Rename downloaded files to meaningful names as they are downloaded.
- Add user comments to the EXIF data in downloaded JPEG images.
- Create a small backup file of the image EXIF data, so that ExiMerge can merge the original EXIF
data (including complete MakerNotes) back into an image after the image has been edited.
For users that shoot in Canon raw format, CDLPro
has yet more features. It can:
- Convert the .THM thumbnail files into thumbnail JPEG files so that Windows Explorer can
display a thumbnail image directly from the downloaded image.
- Adjust the time stamp inside the raw image file to correct for camera internal clock
mis-setting.
- Create complete EXIF backup data files for downloaded raw images, so that ExiMerge
can merge the original EXIF data (including complete MakerNotes) back into an image after
the image has been edited.
For users that download from the Epson P-2000 multimedia storage unit, CDLPro can:
- Locate all images at once.
- Clean the P-2000 directories when the images are downloaded.
